I CANNOT believe its already almost a whole week into May. But, that means it’s almost wedding season for me!

Moving from Tennessee last summer, I wasn’t sure how wedding season was going to shape up for me in a new city where I could count the number of people I knew on one hand. Thankfully, my calendar filled up much more quickly than expected and I got to meet tons of fun, adventurous couples that I can’t wait to work with this summer!

One of those couples was Tresa and Alvin. I got to meet up with them last week to take some engagement photos in Red Rocks Open Space. I knew they were going to be a fun couple when in their initial e-mail they said my dog was the cutest golden retriever they’d ever seen (I tend to agree). And dog people are my kind of people. We spent the evening hiking all around Red Rocks Open Space and it was actually warm enough that I even broke a sweat. Unfortunately, I forgot to wear my Fitbit, so we’ll never know the actual lengths I went to for these photos, but nevertheless, I’d say it was worth it.
